	This symbol marks the items certified accordingly to the European Directive and related normative references. The majority of carabiners with locking gate may be supplied, when required, with instructions for use and markings as per EN 362. Questo simbolo contraddistingue gli articoli certificati secondo le Direttive Europee e le relative norme di riferimento. La maggior parte dei moschettoni dotati di leva bloccabile, quando è richiesto, può essere fornita con istruzioni d'uso e marcature conformi alla norma EN 362.

	This symbol marks carabiners and tools complying with the specifications of the International Union of Alpine Associations (UIAA), that usually are more severe then the EN norms. Questo simbolo indica i moschettoni e gli attrezzi che rispondono alle specifiche della Unione Internazionale delle Associazioni Alpinistiche (UIAA), in genere più severe delle norme EN.

kN	The maximum guaranteed loads, marked on the carabiners, are referred to these conditions: major axis with closed gate (that is the usual condition), minor axis with closed gate, and finally major axis with open gate. I carichi massimi garantiti, marcati sui moschettoni, si riferiscono a queste condizioni: asse maggiore con leva chiusa (che è la condizione usuale), asse minore con leva chiusa, e infine asse maggiore con leva aperta.

mm	The first measure points out the main dimension A. The second one following the symbol indicates the right diameter of the rope, or diameter that can get inside the carabiner. La prima misura rileva l'ingombro massimo A, mentre la seconda che segue il simbolo indica il diametro opportuno della corda., o il diametro che può entrare nel moschettone.

KeyLock	KeyLock is the patented locking system that avoid any possible snagging point on connector, as described in the document.201. KeyLock è il sistema brevettato di chiusura, che elimina ogni possibile punto di impiglio della corda, così come è descritto nel documento.201.
